Raison d'Etre

I've noticed that the older math kits in many Educational Libraries' Instructional Resource Centers (IRC) don't get checked out often (or in some cases at all). That's why I decided to make this blog to record my explorations (and hopefully those of my students) with some of these. I'm hoping I can get some of the teacher candidates to record short video commentaries or reviews of the Kits and Games. Ultimately, I'll count this blog a success if more teacher candidates and teachers check some of these materials out for themselves to use in schools with kids or I encourage someone to visit their educational resource centers and see what treasures might be lying around unused and unloved.
